The Skyway Aviation Handling Company PLC (SAHCO) is a public liability company that was established under the Nigerian Companies and Allied Matters Act of 1990 to provide aviation ground handling services. As part of the 1996 Nigerian Federal Ministry of Aviation Reform, SAHCO, originally known as Skypower Aviation Handling Company Limited, was created from the dissolved Nigeria Airways Limited. After a hotly contested privatization in which Sifax Group won the contract with a bid of N5.52 billion Naira, SAHCO was transferred to the Sifax Group by the Federal Government of Nigeria on December 23, 2009. On April 23, 2019, the company went public on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Skyway Aviation Handling Company PLC, with its new public sector management composition and orientation has kicked off the development of business models geared towards ushering in efficient and speedy service delivery. SAHCO is RA3 and ISAGO certified and has invested in personnel development, state-of-the-art equipment, fleet replacement, and massive infrastructural development. The duties of SAHCO involves all the actions that takes place from the time an aircraft touches down on the tarmac to the time it is airborne, also ensuring that Ground Handling assignment is carried out in an efficient, speedy and safe manner, while deploying the right tools.

Responsibilities
The successful candidates’ Job role shall be to:
- Develops and executes a strategy for discovering and securing new business opportunities either locally, regionally, or internationally
- Adapts new business strategies in accordance with the types of clients already secured by the company.
- Evaluates, determines and realizes quarterly business growth goals
- creates a business and development database in order to evaluate performance and organize client and prospective client information
- Develops negotiation strategies by evaluating risks and potentials
- Assess potential third part clients in terms of income potential and mission fit
- Fosters beneficial relationships with business partners, potential clients, and business contacts in order to attract new business and enhance the organization’s reputation.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.Sc / HND in Statistics, Finance, Marketing, Project Management, Transport and Logistics and related fields
- IT Literate
- Information gathering and analysis skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Project support/coordination skills.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in Business Development, Marketing and Sales function in the Aviation Industry
- Excellent administration and support skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint
