Job Purpose
- World-class planning, execution and delivery of technical and managerial Health, Safety and Environmental aspects of the Bluefin Depot, including overall coordination of the HSE program and the drive to reach our goal of zero HSE Incidents:
- Provide and manage consistent high quality HSE development work and services for Safety relating to onsite safe systems of work and to Technical Integrity
- Drive compliance with Matrix Energy Group Policies, standards and procedures; local and HSE regulations.
- Drive to achieve the development of HSE Case for Bluefin Depot.
- Drive to achieve ISO 14001 certification.
- Take the lead in implementing the Zero Tolerance Must Win on Work Site Hazard Management improvement requirements.
- Monitor, review and report HSE performance including main contractors and subcontractors to achieve the performance commitments.
Requirements
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Science or Engineering Degree.
- At least 3 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Possess certification in NEBOSH.
- Good understanding of the business risks. Able to develop and implement downstream & Industry policies, strategies, and standards.
- Good MS Office skills particularly in Excel, Word and Power point.
- Seasoned HSE Professional with broad experience with the downstream sector, experience with HSE risk aspects of Oil and Gas and/or management experience within Oil & Gas environment.
Competence:
- Meets the Matrix Energy Group Competence Profile
- Skilled in HSSE Risk Management Framework
- Skilled in HEMP and Safe Systems of work
- Knowledge of Auditing, Environmental quality standards, Environmental laws regulations and permits.
- Skilled in analysing and solving problems, communicating, and persuading and being personally creative and innovative.
- Skilled at team working, Managing Business interfaces and working and embedding change.
